General Questions

Can you still operate during lockdowns?

Yes, we are still able to operate during lockdown. Unfortunately, we are only able to perform essential relocations only during any restrictions in Melbourne.

Can you tell me what your rates are?

We calculate the rate for your move based on the truck size and amount of staff required for your relocation. In order to calculate this rate, we need to know what items are to be moved. For larger jobs, we do offer obligation free inspections within 1.5 hours from our depot, in Cheltenham (not available during lockdown). As an alternative, we are now offering online inspections, ask us how!

What is the most cost-effective day for my relocation?

Our weekday rates are the most cost-effective, with the Saturday rate being higher and the Sunday rate being higher again.

How do I pay for my relocation?

We take payment at the end of your relocation. Payment can be made either by cash or using our mobile EFTPOS machine. Please, note that if you organising your move from interstate or overseas, we do require a deposit.


What items can’t be moved?

  • Grand Pianos require a specialist. One can be organised on your behalf. Please ask us.

  • BBQ Gas bottles or flammable liquids cannot be packed and transported by us.

  • Pets cannot be safely transported in our trucks.

  • Fish tanks, reptile tanks, glass tanks

Do you do interstate moves?

Unfortunately, at the present time, we are only doing moves within Victoria. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I have never moved before, what do I need to do leading up to my relocation?

Do you dismantle and reassemble items?

We have the capabilities to dismantle and reassemble basic items (bed frames, table legs, duchess mirror etc). For more complex furniture such as IKEA, homemade or furniture with electrical wiring attached, we recommend a handyman. If you need assistance for a handyman, please let us know. One can be organised for you.

Can you connect or disconnect white goods?

Unfortunately, we do not connect or disconnect any electrical items such as TV’s, washing machine, fridge, lamps etc.

Whats the best way to keep my costs down?

We know it can be difficult preparing for the move. Our checklist will assist in guiding you to be well prepared before the removalists arrive.

Can I leave my clothes in the drawers?

We highly recommend all drawers, cupboards and shelves be emptied as if it was brand new to lighten the load. This will help the removalists move your belongings faster, saving you time and money.
